The new campus will feature:
A specialized School of Allied Health wing with a patient simulation lab, dedicated phlebotomy lab,
Health Information Technology lab, and new medical classrooms. Enhanced student commons that leads to a dedicated outdoor pavilion with views of Flushing Meadows Park.
Custom tailored classrooms and computer labs equipped with the latest technology and software programs.
Brand new Library and Learning Resources Center with additional offerings and private study rooms.
New facilities including a dedicated staircase, elevator, and brand new bathrooms!
Student café, campus store, & much more!

The Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike express subway stop on the E&F trains is less than 25 steps from our front door!
Student parking is accessible through an on-site garage as well as a municipal lot only 2 short blocks away.

Our new computer classrooms provide an intimate environment for the optimum learning experience:
The Forest Hills Campus has five dedicated computer classrooms equipped with the latest technology and software programs.
Classroom 101 is also the new home of Plaza's Assessment Center and provides students with an improved technological experience when completing their placement assessments.
Labs and academic assistance sessions will be more accessible with the increased number of computers available for student use.
Academic Resources Center
Formerly the Learning Resources Center, the new Academic Resources Center is conveniently located in the center of campus:
From Accounting to English and even Allied Health, peer & faculty tutoring is available to assist you in the areas you need it most.
The ARC is available for computing & printing, viewing videos for class, having a quiet place to study, working on your portfolio, or taking exams.
Want to brush up on some skills? Take advantage of the many supplemental instruction sessions and workshops offered throughout the semester!
Directly adjacent to the ARC, the new Plaza Library meets all the needs of today's college students:
Need a private place to study or meet with your project group? Students will be able to sign out the reserved study room just for this purpose!
As always, our friendly library staff will be there to help you with all your library needs from finding the perfect book for your project to giving advice on how to go about your research.
The new library features three specialized zones: a student internet zone complete with computer workstations, a study zone for those who wish to work quietly, and a social zone for those who wish to do some leisure reading between classes.
The Anatomy Lab is one of three specialized labs accessible to students in the School of Allied Health:
The lab offers extensive resources for lectures and lab assignments based on the study of human anatomy.
A unique, hands-on experience, the lab focuses on kinesthetic learning for students of many levels and programs.
The Patient Simulation Lab is configured for students to gain clinical experience:
Providing active student learning and professional development opportunities through simulation is the main purpose of the Patient Simulation lab.
The lab is fully equipped to assist students in developing skills required for patient interviews and exam preparation.
Students will utilize this specialized lab to perform EKG’s, basic laboratory tests, gather patient vital signs, and much more.
Students in the School of Allied Health will also get to experience the dedicated Phlebotomy Lab:
With four phlebotomy chairs and all the latest equipment, students will learn how to draw blood in a setting simulated to be like the one they’ll actually work in.
Students will enhance their knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and develop the proper specimen collection and handling skills in this specialized space.
Formerly Bruson Hall Promenade, Plaza Commons is the hub of student activity in our new campus:
With areas for studying, relaxing between classes, and working on computers, the Commons is a multi-use space accessible to all students.
The Department of Student Life is directly connected to the Commons, making participating in special events even easier!
A new Bookstore and Café give new meaning to ease and convenience.
Only accessible to the Plaza Community, a 10,000 square foot Terrace lies just outside the doors of the Commons:
The Terrace is a perfect place to enjoy the warm weather between classes!
Need a change of “study scenery”, a new place to eat lunch, or somewhere meet with your project group? Try it out!
In addition, the Terrace will be the home of many upcoming Plaza events – keep an eye out for the exciting announcements.

The new Student Services & Financial Aid Departments are located in the rear of the second floor:
