Dental Hygiene (AAS)
Dental Hygiene students are prepared, in a state-of-the-art clinical setting, to perform preventive dental hygiene procedures including dental prophylaxis, dental radiographs, topical fluorides, anxiety and pain control procedures, oral health education, infection control procedures and dental office procedures.
Dental Hygiene is a 76 credit Associate of Applied Sciences degree program consisting of courses in nutrition, radiology, medical emergencies, and clinical patient care. Prior to graduation, students will treat patients in the on-site Community Dental Clinic. cal fluorides, anxiety and pain control procedures, oral health education, infection control procedures and dental office procedures.
