Reopening the Forest Hills Campus

We are looking forward to reopening our campus to the Plaza College community and have developed a reopening plan that will ensure that, in doing so, we can maintain the health and safety of our constituents. Governor Cuomo’s New York Forward plan outlines four phases during which the State of New York will gradually reopen following months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In conjunction with this, Plaza’s plan includes a number of stages under which staff, faculty, students, and visitors will be welcomed back onto campus. The links below provide plans, resources, and announcements on returning to campus. Please check back frequently for updates.

COVID-19 Response

On Thursday, March 12th, Plaza College announced that the remainder of the Winter 2020 semester would be conducted in the College’s virtual classrooms due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation in the New York City area. The Spring semester which began on May 26th, will remain in the virtual environment until the authorities have deemed it safe to resume on-campus operations. Students, staff, and faculty should regularly check this page, as well as their Plaza College email and MyApps accounts, frequently to stay current on the College’s response to the Pandemic.
