Learning Resources Center
The Learning Resources Center (LRC) is open five days a week and is staffed with people here to help you succeed at Plaza College. Our services are free of charge to all students. In addition to computing and printing, students can use our space to view videos for classes, have a quiet place to study, or take exams.
Our faculty, peer, and professional tutors can help you in the following areas:
- Allied Health – administrative and clinical courses
- College Math
- Computer Skills – MS Office Suite, keyboarding
- English – grammar, writing, reading comprehension
- English as a Second Language – speaking groups, intensive grammar and writing
- Health Information Technology
- Information Literacy – use our MLA guide for all Plaza papers
- Study Skills
Students are welcome to drop in to use our services, although appointments are strongly recommended for tutoring sessions. Be sure to ask about our Supplemental Instruction, grammar, writing, and student skills workshops run throughout the semester!

Bruson Hall Library
The Bruson Hall Library is available to Plaza College students five days a week. Students can use our space to study, meet for group projects, research a wide variety of topics, and utilize our computer services. Our helpful staff will assist you in your research needs, whether you use our extensive collection of books and periodicals, the EBSCO, ProQuest, or SIRS databases, or connect to the offerings of the New York City public library systems.
