How do I audition to be graduation speaker?
Every year, graduation includes a student address. Auditions to be the 2017 student graduation speaker will be filmed on Wednesday, May 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you wish to audition, you must respond to Dean Howle’s May 17 email to schedule a time!

Do I need a ticket?
Students walking in the ceremony do not need a ticket as their seats are reserved. Invitations will be mailed in May, and students must RSVP and pay the fee that covers caps, gowns, degree covers, and other items. Students should bring their money order or cash to Financial Services.
How do I get tickets for my guests?
All guests require tickets, and each student participating is guaranteed five (5) tickets. Extra tickets may be requested when students RSVP; however, extra tickets are not guaranteed and are based on available space. Students will be contacted when the tickets are ready for pick up the week before graduation. Students who do not need all of their tickets may return them to Student Services; tickets may not be sold.
Where do my guests sit?
Seating selection for friends and family is on a first come, first served basis. Guests should arrive before 8:30 a.m. to be seated in the auditorium since Queens College security will hold late-comers back when the procession has started.
