International Women’s Day Photo Collage!

In honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8th, the Department of Student Life will build a photo collage representing women who have made a positive impact on your life!

This can be a family member, friend, professor, celebrity, activist, etc…anyone whom you hold in admiration!

How can you get involved? See below:

Submit Photos!

Starting on Monday, February 25th, please bring a photo (a copy is fine) to the Student Life Office located in the Plaza Commons.  Please note: all photos have to be of clear resolution (not blurry), appropriate in nature, and sized between 2-5 inches.

Help Build The Collage!

We will start to make a collage on Monday, Feb.25th. We will have all the supplies for you to utilize! All are welcome to come and help build the collage whenever time permits over the next 2 weeks!

Take Photos!

The collage will be officially revealed on Friday, March 8th and stay up outside the Student Life Office the rest of the month! We encourage all to come and take photos in front of the collage, tagging Plaza College on social media when posted!

Feb.26: Health and Wellness From The Inside Out feat. Sharon Zarabi @ 5:30pm 

“Let food by thy medicine,” is a quote from Hippocrates that Sharon Zarabi, registered dietitian and fitness trainer started living by during her college years. In this workshop she will talk about how we can start now to get on the track to better energy, disease prevention and even the foods to eat that enhance physical appearance. Ms. Zarabi will talk about the best “on the go” breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas (great for parents), fad diets (what works, what doesn’t) and more! Snacks will be sponsored by Setton Farms!

 

 
Feb.28: Social Media & Your Career (led by Career Services) @ 11:35am
Learn how social media can support your job search and get that interview! We will review best practices regarding the use of social media platforms and how to leverage different job sites to enhance your chances of landing your ideal job!
