What made you want to attend Plaza College? Everything. I was especially interested in the majors that were offered to me, the setup of the school, and the Learning Resources Center.

What were you doing prior to enrolling in Plaza College? Nothing. Going from one dead-end job to another and not really developing new skills or using old ones.

Biggest obstacle you have had to overcome while being at Plaza College: My biggest obstacle was really applying myself to get my work done. I had to realize that my education isn’t free, and most of all, to accomplish something meaningful is life-changing.

What did it take to overcome this obstacle: At Orientation, Dean Loffert said to us that, “We can do it!” And she sincerely meant that. I have had graduation in my mind ever since.

Most rewarding experience at Plaza: To have been inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society was the most rewarding by far. Something of that magnitude has never happened to me. I will always remember that achievement.

Funniest thing that happened to you at Plaza: When I read some of Abraham Lincoln’s poetry at the Poetry Slam, I was wearing a similar hat to the one he used to wear; that was fun!

How do you spend your spare time away from Plaza College? Hobbies or interests? As long as I don’t have work to do, I play my PS3, basketball, Facebook, hang out with friends and family, and watch a lot of movies.

Most important goal in life right now: My biggest goals right now are to get my degrees and to obtain a good career in my field.

What would you say to students who are considering attending Plaza? Stay focused to the end, and remember that hard work really pays off.  I’m a good example of that.

Finish this sentence: To me, Plaza College is:  OUTSTANDING

What a former professor has to say about him: “He is truly respectful and kind. He always is professional, and is a very gracious, mature young man” Professor/Assistant Dean Marisa Fordunski
