What has been your most rewarding experience in the classroom so far?
There have been many. All my experiences in the classroom have been rewarding. Being a part of the learning experience for each of the students that I teach is really a privilege for me. Seeing students grow is important. Working with students who complete their Bachelors and tell me that they want to go on to the Masters and eventually their Doctorate because they now have a thirst for knowledge is particularly rewarding for me.
In class, if a lesson isn’t going well, what do you do to get your students’ attention?
I usually tell students about one or two of my experiences as a student and that usually gets their attention.
