Each year, scholarships are offered across the country for students from all colleges. Below are a few opportunities being offered in 2018. These scholarships are not from Plaza College, so check the individual websites for details and requirements.
The Groza Learning Center Education Scholarship is available to currently enrolled college students. The $1000 scholarship is based on a short essay, and submissions are due by December 31. To find out more, visit their website!
The Intermountain Vein Center offers a Health and Wellness Scholarship available to students with a GPA of at least 3.4. The $2500 scholarship is based on a short essay, and two are awarded yearly. The Kalu Yala Scholarship is available to currently enrolled college students not in their last semester. Applicants are required to write a 500-word essay to be considered for the $1000 scholarship, and the deadline is December 31, 2018. To find out more, visit their website!
The Lawyers of Distinction Scholarship is awarded to a current college student not in their final year of studies. To apply for this $1000 award, students must write a 500-word essay answering the question: “What is one law that you think should be put in place that doesn’t currently exist?” The deadline for submission is February 28, 2019. The Nationwide Debt Reduction Services Scholarship is a $1000 prize available to current college students based on a 500-word essay: “What is one money tip that you learned that you feel will help you become financially stable after graduation?” The submission deadline is January 31, 2019.
